The United Kingdom Accreditation Service
is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government
to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations
that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration
services. Accreditation by UKAS demonstrates the competence,
impartiality and performance capability of these evaluators. |
BEAB is the industry standard
for Factory inspection. It is an important element of the
BEAB product approval scheme. Inspections are carried out
annually at each factory where BEAB Approved products are
manufactured. |
The CE mark is the official
marking required by the European Community for all Electric
and Electronic equipment that will be
sold, or put into service for the first time, anywhere in
the European
community. It proves to the user that this product fulfills
all essential
safety and environmental requirements as they are defined
in the European Directives. |
British Standards is the National Standards
Body of the UK, responsible for facilitating, drafting, publishing
and marketing British Standards and other guidelines. |
